Aim of course - learn to perform the primary resuscitation, how to use automated external defibrillator (AED) and external life-threatening bleeding management.

Course is provided for anyone who wants to acquire first aid skills.

Quality initial resuscitation and the use of an automated external defibrillator in the event of sudden death are skills that everyone should know. Not only the patient's life, but also their quality of life depends on these actions. Helping in the first few minutes in the event of life-threatening bleeding, choking or other acute conditions can save a life. The course teaches emergency actions in practical simulated situations up to automation, using the most advanced training equipment.

The course has been prepared in accordance with the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), American Heart Association (AHA) 2020 recommendations.

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:

  • assess the patient's condition and recognise critical conditions;
  • perform high quality chest compressions;
  • apply pressure dressing, tourniquet;
  • manage wounds in different areas using the first aid kit;
  • immobilise limbs with the aid of assistive devices.

You will learn:

  • how to recognize the signs of a stroke and heart attack;
  • what to do in case of acute conditions: fainting, allergic reactions, seizures, poisoning;
  • how to provide first aid in case of drowning or electric shock.

Course duration:

  • practice 4 hours.
